正如商業體制一向試圖吞噬所有具有市場潛能的力量,
1976年11月,Sex Pistols 的驚人魅力被當時最大的唱片公司EMI相中並進行簽約。

雖然 Pistols 立刻成為叛逆青年的英雄,但他們同時也是衛道人士眼中的惡魔,
許多極右派甚至以刀子攻擊他們。

此後, Sex Pistols 的歌曲不斷遭到禁播,而他們的巡迴演唱也遭各區政府的禁止,
逼的他們只能化名參加Live演出。( 例如 : spots ) => Sex Pistolss on Tour Secretly


不過最終 EMI 還是不惜付出大筆的違約金和他們進行解約。


1977年3月,他們再度被另一家大唱片公司A&M簽下,
豈料才經過6天,對方再度與他們解約；

直到77年5月,他們才和當時仍是獨立廠牌的Virgin唱片簽下一紙合約,
也終能發行這張史上超著名的專輯
" Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols"
