時光隧道

回溯到60年代，
紐約文化影響到後世地下音樂、龐客、另類文化的一張唱片，
那就是1967年的The Velvet Underground & Nico的首作。

他們運用簡單的音符描繪了都會的另一面，
例如：藥物的氾濫、性倒亂、暴力、生命無助、無奈、空虛、寂寞、死亡 …
等等存在於都會生活的現象，深刻影響了後世搖滾的發展，堪稱是最早的另類（地下、龐客）起源。

而由“普普大師”Andy Warhol撮合德籍模特兒Nico加入這個表演團體，
並親自擔任他們的經理人，所製作的The Velvet Underground & Nico首張唱片，也就是著名“香蕉”封面的專輯..
它總共收錄了Nico所主唱的3首曲子(合唱1首),
其恬靜、慵懶的歌聲，竟意外的讓她走上了歌唱的生涯。

Nico成功地從演員、模特兒轉變為一位歌手,
並很快地籌備了個人專輯，且漸漸地轉向更深沉、灰暗、歌德式的樂風。
在完成Andy Warhol的影片＜The Chelsea Girl＞後，
Nico採用Lou Reed, John Cale及當時16歲的詩人Jackson Brown等人的作品，推出她的首張個人專輯“Chelsea Girl”。

之後，陸續於1969、1970年發行由John Cale（The Velvet Underground小提琴手）協助製作的專輯“The Marble Index”“Desertshore”，亦皆成為了60年末重要的作品。
進入70年代後，因長期酗酒、嗑藥，使得Nico的聲音越來越低沈。
1974年，Nico與Kevin Ayers, Brian Eno及John Cale在巴黎演出，
集體完成了Nico的新作“The End”，
以翻作The Doors (Jim Morrison)的同名作品「The End」為訴求。
而後她離開了大公司，但並未停止她的歌唱事業，仍然持續的演唱、發片…，
1988年7月17日，在西班牙的Ibiza旅行時，因騎腳踏車意外而身亡，結束了她的一生。

　　Nico由於擔任過演員，又是模特兒，在搖滾圈很容易成為注目的焦點，
因而在60年末嬉皮文化中，成為女性搖滾的代表人物。(轉載自2007搖滾地下鐵)
